fishing-rodCall Detection / Vishing Prevention

Vishing (Voice Phishing) is a social engineering technique where the fraudster calls the victim and, keeping them on the line, instructs them to perform financial transactions or provide sensitive data in the app (e.g., fake bank security center scam).

MAD detects when the app is being used in parallel with an active phone call and, upon detecting this scenario, can trigger configurable protection policies such as crashing the application and displaying security alerts to the user, in addition to immediately sending the event to the Command Center. In this way, it reduces the risk of information leakage during fraudulent phone interactions.
